Rafique joins Atlético de Kolkata
Mohammed Rafique, scorer of the goal that gave the title to Atlético de Kolkata in the first final of the Indian Super League, has signed his return to the red and white squad.
The red and white fans of Atlético de Kolkata are in luck because one of the most important players of the first edition, Mohammed Rafique, has signed with our franchise to play under Antonio Lopez Habas. Rafique scored the historic goal that gave our team the win at the end of the first edition of the Super Indian League against Kerala Blasters, when the match was in its final moments.
Rafique arrives to strengthen a team that wants to fight for the title again. The next match of Atlético de Kolkata will be played on Saturday 7th, at home, at the Salt Lake Stadium against North East United, the team where Simão Sabrosa plays, former Atlético de Madrid player and one of the players who contributed to make Atlético’s history greater by winning titles.
