Miranda suffers a hamstring injury to his left thigh

Miranda left the Austria-Brazil match due to injury and early this afternoon, he underwent an MRI that indicated he suffers a left thigh hamstring injury.

Joao Miranda has undergone an MRI early this afternoon at the Fremap Clinic in Majadahonda to confirm the severity of the injury he sustained during the Austria-Brazil match that resulted in him being substituted on the 28th minute.

The medical report says that Miranda suffers a "Grade II muscle injury to the hamstring (distal third) on the back of his left thigh. This injury requires physical therapy and rest from sport activities until next week, when he can start an alternative training. He's pending evolution."
