Mario Suárez: "I'm happy to be back and able to dedicate the victory to Luis"
After several months out of the team the midfielder returned. The Atletico midfielder was happy with his performance and to have been able to dedicate the victory to Luis Aragonés.
Mario Suárez appeared before the media after the match against Real Sociedad in the firs game that he’s played again after many months off the pitch due to injury. "After three months without playing, I have to thanks the boss for his confidence. I felt very good. Also in the day of tribute to Luis Aragones, we have done what he always wanted to do, to win."
The Atletico player said that "everything went well, we won, we’re leaders" and was "very happy with everything, I dedicate this victory to Luis", he went on "all we get this year will be for him because he is an Atletico and Spanish football legend."
After the victory against Real Sociedad , Mario is already thinking about the Copa del Rey . "They are totally different competitions. We've done our job today and Wednesday is a nice tie in a competition in which we defend the title against arch-rivals. We return to the Bernabeu. It will be a very nice game and we will do the things we do to try to get a positive result. The important thing is that we are all one hundred percent".
The Atletico also spoke about the new incorporation, Diego Ribas. "I knew the year he was here, he had a lot to gain from coming. He looks very well attuned to the group. He has been able to get a goal. He is a much loved player by the fans and surely we will give a lot."
