Manzano: 'We´ve come here to win and I will have the best players on the field'
Atletico coach is determined to keep the good run going against Rennes on Thursday
Gregorio Manzano along with Thibaut Courtois, took part in the last press conference before the European tie against Rennes on Thursday at 19.00pm at the Stade Route de Lorient.
Responding to questions from the international press, Manzano announced that the record goal scorer in the competition, Radamel Falcao, will be playing into the match against the French team. 'Tomorrow we’re here to win and I will have the best players on the field. Among them, Falcao,' he said.
However, Gregorio Manzano wanted to clarify that the squad is very rich in resources and Colombian striker is one of them. 'We will play as a whole, not only depending on Falcao' he added.
Finally, Manzano gave a nod to tomorrow’s opponent say that 'I would, logically, like to see Rennes in the next phase accompanied by Atletico Madrid.'
