Lucas Hernández answered the media at Majadahonda’s Sports City. The player from the ranks, who renewed until 2019 yesterday, thanked the trust placed in him by the club: "Simeone has been trusting in me for a couple of years and I'm aware of that trust, which is what he has made me renew with the club of my life, which has given everything to me. I've been in this club since I was 11 and hope to continue in this club for many years more."
Regarding his future, Lucas said to be happy to be in the first team: "In my head, I plan to stay here because they have placed a great deal of trust in me with my renewal. I want to continue helping the team in whatever I can and show the coach that he can count on me."
