Koke: "We will continue to work match-by-match"
The captains Gabi and Koke and the Argentinian Correa, were responsible for speaking to the media in the mixed zone of the Vicente Calderón.
Koke is already focusing on the two upcoming matches of the team: "We are going to continue to work match-by-match. Now we have to focus on fighting on Wednesday’s Champions League and then we will go to the Bernabeu on Saturday to play a good match and keep fighting. At the moment we are second and will strive to be at the top."
For his part, Correa said: "We know what we play, every match is a final and we play it like that, we have to continue working and improving."
To end, the captain Gabi assured that: "I think that it has been as every match against Villarreal. An even match. We have both played our chances. I think it wasn’t possible and the second rounds are more complicated," he concluded.
