Koke: "Tomorrow we want to start winning"
The international midfielder answered the media in the press conference prior to the first match of the group stage of the Champions League against PSV.
Jorge Resurrection 'Koke' highlighted in an official press conference that they arrive with plenty of enthusiasm and eager to win the first three points in the Champions League. "It is always important to start winning everywhere. Tomorrow is a very important match that we should win, but if we don’t, it’s not the end of the world, there would be five more games left. We want to start this new Champions winning, we are very hopeful and eager to win," he stressed.
The player from the ranks analysed tomorrow’s fixture against Cocu’s players. "The important thing tomorrow is to be successful when finishing and be solid in the rear, as we always are, following our style," he said.
During the press conference, Koke was asked about the respect the team has earned during the last participations in Europe's club showpiece. "Every year, teams follow us more closely since we have already played two Champions League finals, so everyone wants to beat the European runner-up," he concluded.
