Koke and Juanfran extend their contracts
The home-grown player and the footballer from Alicante, key components in the red and white successes, have signed their new contracts with our Club.
Koke and Juanfran have extended their contracts with our Club until 2019 and 2018 respectively. Both players are essential to Atlético's recent successes and their renewals are great news to our Club.
Jorge Resurrección, Koke, has trained in our lower categories and has grown as an Atlético since he was very young, to become one of the symbols of the current Atlético de Madrid. Instrumental to win the Cup and League titles in the last two campaigns, the midfielder has experienced a spectacular growth that has led him to be featured as one of the best players in our Championship and Europe, and to participate in the recent Brazil World Cup with the senior national team.
For his part, Juanfran Torres joined the Atléticos in the winter of the 2010-11 season, coming from Osasuna. The player from Alicante has established himself as one of the best right-backs in the League and in Europe during these last three campaigns, conquering four titles with our team and the Euro 2012 with the Spanish national team, with which he also played in the Brazil World Cup.
