The Croatian footballer gives the leap to LaLiga after play for three seasons in the Italian Serie A with Genoa and Sassuolo. His professional career began in his native country with Lokomotiva and soon afterwards in Dinamo Zagreb.
Šime Vrsaljko was born on January 10th, 1992, in Rijeka (Croatia). At 24, the winger has defended the colours of his country up to 21 times. He is a footballer with a huge projection, as he has demonstrated in the Italian Serie A. He is versatile, as he can play at both flanks, offering Simeone alternatives when attacking and defending.
Vrsaljko makes the leap to LaLiga after playing three seasons in the Serie A. After a year with Genoa, he has played the last two seasons in Sassuolo. His career in professional football started in Lokomotiva in 2009 before returning to Dynamo Zagreb, the club in which he started playing in the ranks, to win four leagues (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) and two Cups (2011 and 2012).
