Our defender injured himself during Uruguay's match against Wales.
During Uruguay's match against Wales, José María Giménez was subbed off after suffering a trauma to his ankle. Supervised by Uruguay's medical team, and in contact with our medical team, Giménez underwent medical exams and a bone fracture to his left ankle was discarded.
Once in Madrid, our medical team will further evaluate our centre-back.
