JACKSON, ÓLIVER, CARRASCO AND SAÚL, HAPPY WITH THE WORK

Jackson: "The win has been a joy for the whole team"

Jackson Martinez, Óliver Torres, Yannick Carrasco and Saúl Ñíguez spoke for the microphones of BeIN Sports after the match.

Jackson Martínez spoke on the lawn of the Vicente Calderón after the match. The Colombian referred to his first goal as an Atlético in their Stadium: "I think it’s a joy for all the team. We have been working in order to score goals.” In addition, our forward said: "I was calm because I was working well. Let’s hope that from now on we continue in the same way."

Óliver was satisfied with the work done by the whole team. "I work every day so that when the opportunity to add for the team comes, which is the most important thing, we all row in the same direction. Obviously, each one individually must be at the service of the collective and starting from that basis, we can do great things."

The Belgian Yannick Carrasco was chosen by UEFA as the MVP. After the match, he was very happy for his first game as a starter. "In my first match as a starter I've played a good match. In previous games, like the one against Real Madrid or Real Sociedad, I helped the team entering from the bench. I'm happy with my first game as a starter."

Saúl spoke in the mixed zone after the match: "It was a hard-fought match, at the beginning it has not been easy, before opening the scoreboard they have moved a little bit to the top and we’ve had more space and we’ve managed to do more harm. The next match is very important for us and we’ll have to give our all to win."
