Griezmann: "It was my best game since coming here"
The French attacker scored three of the four goals that gave our team the victory in San Mamés.
Antonie Griezmann was undoubtedly the man of the match in our team's visit to San Mamés (1-4). The Frenchman scored three goals, and was delighted after the victory: "I played my best game since coming here and I have to continue on this path."
Griezmann credited the team's attitude for turning the game: "We played a slightly bad first half, but the coach had the words necessary to motivate us. Playing like we did in the second half makes everything go better."
On what Simeone had said at halftime, the attacker said that Atlético’s coach asked the team to, "enjoy the game, give their all so they could cap off a year that has been fantastic."
