Griezmann: "I’m very happy to represent my country and Atleti in this ceremony"
The French international wanted to thank the support of his coaches and teammates that has allowed him to be among the three finalists of this prestigious award.
Antoine Griezmann was very happy to be in the short-list for the 2015-16 UEFA Best Player in Europe award. The French striker, who is about to join the pre-season after enjoying a well deserved holiday, commented that he is "very happy to represent Atlético de Madrid and my country in this ceremony, hoping that it ends well and the award can be won."
The striker from Macon valued the many people who helped him be among the three finalists of such a prestigious award: "I want to thank the coaching staff of Atleti and the national team, and all my teammates who have helped me reach this level."
