Griezmann booked a spot for France in the final
Griezmann led France to the final of Euro2016. A double from Atlético’s striker, first when he scored on a penalty shot and later with a finish inside the box, knocked out Germany in the semi-final in Marseille.
Antoine Griezmann was a starter in the exciting Germany-France semi-final that was lived at the Vélodrome in Marseille. He played throughout the match and was decisive. His was the first opportunity that was saved by Neuer at the onset of the match and his was the goal that opened the match when he scored on a penalty shot in the last minute of the first half.
And, in the second half, he scored France’s second goal to book a spot for his country in the final in Paris. Portugal, which beat Wales this Wednesday, will be the rivals of the French at Saint Denis on Sunday (21:00).
