Diego Godín analysed to the microphones of Canal+ our team's defeat at Balaídos against Celta de Vigo. The Uruguayan affirmed that, "we wanted to win three points or have won. We're leaving sad with the defeat, but we must keep going."

Atlético’s centre-back praised the good match played by the Galician side: "We faced a great team that played a good match. In the second half, we were better with situations that gave us the opportunity to score and tie the match, but we failed to do so. We are sad with the result."

Godín recognised the importance of the absences of our team with which they travelled to Balaídos. "We had many guys missing in the midfield. Important players, and we tried to make up for the losses and we tried our best, but like I said, we faced a great team that played very well."

Guilherme Siqueira was self-critical of the team's performance at Balaídos. He noted that, "the assessment of the match was not one of our best. We made mistakes, but we must learn from our mistakes. What we have to do starting tomorrow is to forget about this match, this mishap, and think about the next game, which is also important."
