Godín: "This win strengthens us"
The Uruguayan centre-back was one of the outstanding players against Sporting. He participated in the decisive play by extending the ball to Griezmann for the final 1-0. Both spoke in the mixed zone.
Diego Godín said that "it was a hard game but this serves and strengthens us. We continue along the same path of humility, sacrifice and work. Sometimes you win, sometimes you can't, but the team always gives its all and that’s what people value."
Antoine Griezmann was decisive once again in the match against Sporting. "I'm happy for the goal and the effort of the team. Sporting has been a great rival. It has played very strong at the back and we’ve had a hard time."
