Gámez: "We fought all that we could"
Our player analysed the defeat against Villarreal and already thinks about the next two matches.
Jesús Gámez spoke at the end of the match on the grass of El Madrigal. The winger analysed the second defeat of the season: "We lost three points that were important for us. We knew that it was a difficult rival and that the match was going to be decided in the details. We fought all that we could, but we have not had the fluidity and the luck that we have in other matches. Now, we have to keep working."
Regarding the next two matches against Benfica and Real Madrid, Gámez said that "we are prepared for them. We know that today things have not gone as we wanted, but we have time to recover and face those two games which are very important."
Luciano Vietto returned to El Madrigal and the Argentinian spoke at the end of the match of the defensive order of his former team: "They scored in the first half, and from that moment, they reinforced well at the back and it was hard for us to get to their goal. We have to keep in mind the next match, against Benfica, in which we must look to win as locals with our fans."
