Gameiro: "We advanced to the next round and that's important"
Our goalscorer spoke to the press after our side sealed qualification for the Europa League Round of 16.
Kevin Gameiro scored the only goal in our 1-0 win against FC Copenhagen in the Wanda Metropolitano. After the match, he spoke to the press.
"I'm feeling good. Whenever you score, you feel confident," he said. "I scored with my left leg. I haven't done that too much and it's good for my confidence."
After winning 1-4 in the Telia Parken Stadium, our side did what they had to do in the Wanda Metropolitano to qualify for the Europa League Round of 16.
"We played the way we had to," Gameiro said. "We advanced to the next round and that's important."
When asked about a preferred rival in the next round of the Europa League, our goalscorer didn't give any preferences.
"To play the final, we have to win every match."
