Gaitán, presented as an Atlético

Nicolás Gaitán was presented this Tuesday in the VIP Room of the Vicente Calderón stadium. Enrique Cerezo, Chairman, and José Luis Pérez Caminero, Sporting Director, accompanied the Argentinian international on his first day as an Atlético player.

Enrique Cerezo was in charge of opening the event, welcoming our new player. The Chairman stressed the assisting capacity of the Argentinian: "With Nicolás Gaitán our fans will enjoy a destabilising player who, in addition, makes his teammates better. Last season he made 20 assists and scored 11 goals to help his club to win the Cup and the League, his ninth and tenth title in six years in Lisbon." 

Then it was the turn of the Argentinian footballer. In his first appearance as an Atlético, Gaitán said: "What I can contribute is tactical order and team play. Atlético has great players and I hope to earn a place to help my teammates." After answering the media, Gaitán posed with his new shirt and set foot on the grass of the Calderón for the first time.
