Gabi: "Our goal was to be first
Gabi, Saúl and Vietto were in charge of answering the media at the end of the match.
Our captain Gabi was happy for achieving the goal: "Being first was our goal and whichever rival we get, we’ll take it with the humility and respect of always."
Saúl Ñíguez, scorer of the first goal, analysed the fixture in Lisbon: "We’ve achieved a very important win for us, a hard-fought win, but I think that we deserve advancing as first of the group."
Lastly, Vietto, named Man of the Match, said that "I always try find the best placed teammate. Saúl was better than I to finish and, luckily, it went well."
