Gabi: "I like that the group is more demanding every day"
Atlético’s captain appeared in the Newsroom of the Sports City to answer the media at the end of the morning training.
Gabriel Fernández 'Gabi' was in charge of speaking to the media. The midfielder said, "We are making history. I like that the group is more demanding every day and we are not satisfied with what we have done. Winning a title per season is very good for the club and for our players."
The captain analysed how he has seen the team in this pre-season: "The new ones are demonstrating a very good level from the beginning. This team has been at a very high pace for several years and we are delighted with them. We have more offensive variations and all of us will gradually pick up the pace."
Regarding UD Las Palmas, Gabi stated that "it is a very dangerous rival. It has been playing a flowing football for some time and it will be a complicated match. We want to start strong."
