Fernando Torres: "I'm delighted to come back home"
Atlético’s home-grown player was excited with his return to our Club at his official presentation.
Fernando Torres dressed in the red and white kit once again. Atlético’s home-grown player was presented as our Club’s new player at a surrendered Vicente Calderón where 45,000 fans gathered in its stands. The red and white forward was elated at his premiere: "For me, it's a very special day, very exciting."

The striker explained how he lived Atlético’s current news from a distance: "I am delighted to be back because it's always nice to come back home. I want to put on Atlético’s shirt and get on the Calderón’s field."
Lastly, Torres gave a nod to the fans: "The people who love Atlético know that they win points for the team. Last year, the team were champions because they won a lot of points at home. They will keep winning points and they will keep being important. Atlético is above all and the fans will help us to win and grow."
