Domínguez, due to dizziness, out for the match against Mallorca

Godín and Perea, through injury, and Fran Mérida and Forlán, absent from the list

Álvaro Domínguez was unable to train the day before the team is to travel to Mallorca and was one of the scratches from the squad list given by Quique Sánchez Flores. Joining the home grown players on the sidelines due to injury will be Luis Perea and Godín, in addition to Fran Merida and Forlán, dropped through coach’s decision.

Atlético de Madrid held their final session of the week with a one-and-a-half hour open door practice at Cerro del Espino on the pitch where Atlético B usually play their matches. There was a good number of fans in attendance, with the presence of the lads from Campus Jorge Barrera, from Ávila, who arrived in the company of former player Zapatera, and who were able to enjoy a perfect day of sun and take photos with their idols and ask them for their autographs.

Álvaro Domínguez left the session early with Doctor Villalón to undergo some tests, which revealed that the player is suffering from a bout of dizziness. Luis Perea did work with Oscar Pitillas, the team physical trainer. Noguera, Atienza and César Ortiz were the Atlético B players who joined the usual group of Borja, Pulido and Alberto Perea.

To begin, the group did physical work and then continued with a ball possession drill without goalkeepers, another finishing drill with a goalkeeper, and the practice concluded with a practice match on the half-pitch. On side with bibs were: De Gea; Valera, Ujfalusi, Pulido, Filipe Luis; Elías, Tiago, Mario Suárez, Fran Mérida; Diego Costa and Forlán. Facing them, without bibs were: Joel; Alberto Perea, César, Atienza, Antonio López; Juanfran, Assunçao, Raúl García, Koke; Reyes and Kun. Noguera and Borja also later came on to play in the scrimmage.
