Diogo Jota: "I’m very proud to be here"
Our new football player answered the media in the VIP lounge of the Vicente Calderón stadium.
Diogo Jota appeared before the media on the day of his presentation as a new red and white player. The Portuguese began by thanking the warm words of Enrique Cerezo: "First of all, I want to thank the Chairman and Atleti. I'm very proud to be here and I hope to be useful to the team."
"I've spent a lot of time with Tiago in the training sessions. He has helped me a lot these first days and I have been able to learn the work method. He has advised me to listen and try to do as best as possible," he explained. He also assured: "I want to do my very best in the pre-season."
Diogo Jota noted how hard the first trainings of the pre-season were: "The trainings have been very different to what I was used to. We have trained very intensely, but I'm holding up well."
