Derby time at the Cívitas Metropolitano
This Sunday, from 9pm, we will play the derby against Real Madrid at the Cívitas Metropolitano, a match corresponding to the matchday 6 of LaLiga.
After starting a new journey in the Champions League against Lazio, we return to the domestic competition to welcome Real Madrid at the Cívitas Metropolitano this Sunday at 9pm.
Football returns to the home of all the Atleti fans 41 days after the match against Granada, which kicked off the new LaLiga season. The match against Granada ended 3-1 in our favour of thanks to goals from Morata, Memphis and Llorente. On the other hand, our rivals managed to win their last LaLiga away game against Celta de Vigo by 0-1 with Bellingham as the only scorer.
The last meeting between the two sides took place on 25 February with a final score of 1-1. Giménez would give us the lead, but Álvaro Rodríguez would score the equaliser in the final stretch.
