Our team, together with Villarreal, is the team to concede less goals in LaLiga with only 23 goals conceded.
Diego Pablo Simeone’s team has great stats in the defensive area. Our goalkeepers have kept a clean sheet in 15 of the 29 matches played in LaLiga. Oblak did not concede a goal in ten of those games for the five of Miguel Ángel Moyá. The Slovenian, who reached his 100th match wearing our shirt against Málaga, has managed to keep a clean sheet in 58 of those 100 matches.
In addition, our team is, together with Villarreal, the team to concede less goals in the League championship with only 23 goals conceded (an average of 0,79 goals per game). The Slovenian goalkeeper was last season’s Zamora (the goalkeeper to concede less goals), matching Liaño's record, by conceding only 19 goals in the entire LaLiga competition. For his part, Moyá, who has just renewed with the club, has had a great performance in the matches he has played so far.
In the Champions League, our team has conceded only two goals in the group stage, becoming the team to concede less goals together with Juventus and Copenhagen. In total, our team has conceded four goals in eight games in the continental showpiece.
