The men of Carlos González debut today at the Canadian Championship. After facing HFX Wanderers on the first day of the CPL, they now face those from Halifax again in the cup duel.
The Canadian Championship is the tournament that each year determines the team that will lift the Voyageurs Cup and represent Canada in the Concacaf Champions League.
Atlético Ottawa raised the curtain on the 2023-24 season a few days ago against HFX Wanderers. It was the first Canadian Premier League game of the season. Today, starting at 11:00pm, the rojiblancos will once again face those from Nova Scotia in their first match of the cup tournament.
After the 1-1 draw at a packed TD Place for the league debut, Atlético Ottawa will now visit the Wanderers Grounds in Halifax. Our sister club in Canada faces its first challenge in the race to become the representative of Canadian soccer in Concacaf.
