Vrsaljko has landed this sunday in Madrid. The Croatian international joins Atlético’s discipline following his holidays after playing the European Championship with his team, which was beat by 0-1 by Portugal in the extra time of the round of 16.

At 24, Vrsaljko comes to Simeone’s team after passing playing in the Italian Sassuolo and Genoa. In his country, he played with Dynamo Zagreb, the club where he played in the lower categories, and Lokomotiva, the team where he was loaned for half a year.
