The players from the first team of Atletico Madrid completed the last training session in Spain before traveling to Italy for the first leg of the knockout stages of the Champions League against AC Milan.

The training session began with players working out for 50 min in the gym. Then they took to field number 4 of Majadahonda Sports City. On the pitch the session consisted of various exercises with ball work focused on the technical side and the tactics to be employed in the next match.

The team will head to Milan early Tuesday morning. After landing in the Italian city the team will rest and perform the last session before the game. It will be in the afternoon at the venue, the San Siro Stadium.
