The young, 21 year-old goalkeeper, who is on loan at Málaga C.F. from Atlético de Madrid, suffered a torn ACL in his right knee during his team’s match on Sunday. The footballer will undergo surgery in the upcoming days and, if there are no setbacks, will be out an estimated 6-8 months. Doctor Pedro Guillén will be in charge of performing the operation at the CEMTRO Clinic.
