Atlético de Kolkata prepares the Indian Super League in Los Ángeles de San Rafael

Atlético de Kolkata began on Tuesday 26th of this month a concentration in Los Ángeles de San Rafael to prepare the start of the Indian Super League, which will take place on October 12th. The red and white team, coached by Antonio López Habas, performs the ‘stage’ in the same place that Atlético de Madrid does it and where Atlético B also did it, in the Nayade hotel.

Antonio López currently has 16 players, with whom he’s working to engage a team that hopes to perform well in this new competition. Next Monday, four more Indian players will arrive, and three others will also have to join in this concentration in Segovia, a Frenchman, a Cameroonian, and another one from the Czech Republic.

The team is doing a job similar to that of Atlético de Madrid, with gym sessions in the Spa of the complex and on the football field. Starting next week, the team plans to start playing friendlies, first against teams from the province of Segovia, to finish with some matches against teams from Second Division B or Second Division A, in order to start the competition. The Indian Super League will begin on October 12th and will end with the final for the title on December 20th.
