Aranzubia’s first training session as an Atletico player
Diego Pablo Simeone’s men trained for an hour and a half in the Majadahonda Sports City on a very hot day. The group welcomed the new addition Dani Aranzubia.
First thing in the morning on Wednesday, the first team group held the only training session of the day. To avoid the sweltering heat, the coaching staff started earlier than normal to continue the preparation of the first league match against Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan with which will kick off the 2013/2014 season.
Dani Aranzubia had his first training session as an Atleti player after successfully passing his medical and signing his new contract yesterday. His new teammates welcomed im at the start of the session before quickly getting involved in the session directed by Oscar Ortega. Once the warm up was complete, Simeone worked with his men on physical work and some shooting on goal in a very intense exercise.
Due to the international players being away, Atletico Madrid B player Nana and Borja Martínez came in alongside goalkeepers Barnabas and David Gil who trained under the command of the Argentine coach.
