The event started in the VIP Room of the stadium, where our player answered the media for the first time and where he received the red and white shirt from the Chairman of the club, Enrique Cerezo, who along with José Luis Pérez Caminero, Sporting Director, welcomed the Portuguese goalkeeper.
"His technical background, his size and his athletic ability result in a very rounded goalkeeper and with great prospects. A young asset that joins a squad that combines experience and youth to face this new season," Cerezo said before giving the floor to André Moreira.
The Portuguese goalkeeper assured to be "very happy to have this opportunity." He also defined himself as a keeper who "tries to reassure and calm the team."
After the appearance, Moreira posed for the print media with his new shirt, accompanied by Atlético’s Chairman and José Luis Pérez Caminero. Later, our player took the field of the Vicente Calderón wearing the team kit and greeted the red and white fans, who gave him a warm welcome.
