Agreement reached with Chelsea for the transfer of Filipe Luis
The Brazilian will play with the English team after four seasons wearing the red and white.
Atletico Madrid and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the transfer of Filipe Luis, pending the English Club’s medical examination. The Brazilian footballer had communicated our Club at the end of the season his willingness to join the Club from London.
Filipe Luis joined Atlético de Madrid from Deportivo de la Coruña in the summer of 2010, conquering the European Super Cup against Inter Milan. During the four campaigns he’s played in our Club, the Brazilian left-back has played 180 games, winning the League, the King’s Cup, the UEFA Europa League and another European Super Cup against Chelsea.
