Simeone held a session of one hour in the Majadahonda Sports City to fully prepare for the meeting in Cornella-El Prat against Espanyol. After training, the Argentine coach offered a list of 19 players among them Adrian and Raul Garcia who have already recovered from physical problems that prevented them from being in the previous squad. Not in the list are Aranzubia, Miranda, Guilavogui, Óliver and Leo Baptistão.

The team charter will depart on Saturday at 12 am from Barajas spending the afternoon in Barcelona ahead of the meeting to be held at 22.00. They will return by plane to the capital of Spain.
