PREVIEW | ALMERÍA - ATLETI

A new challenge in LaLiga

We travel to the Power Horse Stadium to play this Saturday 24th February, from 9pm CET, against Almería.

We return to domestic competition to face a new challenge, in this case, against Almería. The Power Horse Stadium will host this Saturday 24th February from 9pm, the match corresponding to the 26th round of LALIGA between Almeria and Atleti. The match will be directed by referee Alberola Rojas, who will be assisted by Jaime Latre from the VAR.

Simeone's side are back in league mode after playing the first game of the tie against Inter at the Giuseppe Meazza. After the win against Las Palmas in the last league match (5-0) with braces from Correa and Llorente and a goal from Memphis, our team face Almería with the intention of consolidating their place in the Champions League places.

For their part, Almería come into this game bottom of LALIGA with 8 points, having failed to add their first win to their tally and having drawn (1-1) in their last game against Granada. The team coached by Gaizka Garitano has accumulated 6 draws and 6 defeats at home, with 10 goals scored and 21 conceded.

In the first leg match at the Cívitas Metropolitano, the three points stayed in Madrid thanks to goals from Morata and Correa, which secured a 2-1 victory.
