TRIBUTE FROM THE TEAMS AND FANS TO THE VICTIMS

A minute of silence for the terrorist attack in Paris and to remember Topo López

The players of Barcelona and Atleti held a respectful and moving minute of silence for the recent terrorist attacks that took place in the French capital. Both teams also posed for a photograph with the banner: '#JusticiaParaTopo’ (JusticeForTopo).

Moments before the start of the match, the Camp Nou was witness to a respectful minute of silence in memory of the victims of the tragic attacks in Paris.

The French Antoine Griezmann jumped to the field with a shirt with the phrase 'Je Suis Charlie' (I'm Charlie) printed on it, as a special tribute to all his countrymen who died in Paris.

On the other hand, the teams of FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid were photographed on the field with a banner that read '#JusticiaParaTopo' (JusticeForTopo). Topo López, who died during Brazil’s World Cup, was a well-known Argentinian journalist who worked with different Spanish media. His death occurred when thieves on the run crashed their stolen car against the taxi where Topo López was travelling, killing the journalist.
