International Training Projects

The club has started a process of Transformation and Integration of the Academy, in order to unify methodology and values among the High Performance and Training Academy, to then take its model abroad.

In this regard, Schools in Mexico and Romania are running, while important steps are being taken to open new offices in accordance to an ambitious international expansion plan, which expects the creation of Schools in different strategic markets for the entity, thus contributing to achieve future growth objectives and reinforce the values of the Atlético de Madrid brand in the world.

Within its sporting and training activity, the Club also carries out international programmes for players who come to Madrid from several countries around the world, from China, Azerbaijan, as well as from allied clubs in Thailand, Mexico or the United States, among others.

These programmes offer many children the opportunity to have a unique educational and formative experience in Spain, studying and training according to the training plans of the club, along with the other Spanish players from the Academy.

These comprehensive training projects fall within the international expansion plan of the club, since they constitute another important instrument through which the positioning of the Atlético de Madrid brand can consolidate in strategic markets for the entity.
