FERNANDO TORRES PROMOTED THE PROJECT IN THE PRESENTATION EVENT AT THE CALDERÓN

We support Fundela’s solidary calendar

Our club’s Foundation supports the project in favour of the research for the cure of ALS involving numerous celebrities from the world of sport, cinema, theatre, dance, music and the media.

The press room of the Vicente Calderón Stadium was the place chosen by the Spanish Foundation for the Support of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Research (Fundela) for this Monday, 30th of November’s presentation of the solidary calendar in favour of research for the cure of ALS.

Fundela, Nine Fitness Sports Club and the photographer from Huelva Moisés Fernández Acosta, with the support of the Atlético de Madrid Foundation, are the creators of this solidarity project promoted by Fernando Torres, Ambassador of Fundela. "It's a very cruel disease and we want to serve as a vehicle so people don’t forget this disease and for those who struggle every day. Before, were fewer, but now, we are more thanks to initiatives such as the Ice Bucket Challenge, which was world renown. Calendar, besides being non-profit, will make us remember every day, every week and every month of the disease," the striker said.

This solidary calendar will be available in the first weeks of December in different shops and web sites so whoever purchases it will be benefitting Fundela.
