We open the Audi Cup against Naples

Atlético de Madrid will open the Audi Cup with an important match against the Italian Naples. A rival who will play the qualifying rounds of the Champions League, which makes it an acid test for our team. It will be the first semi-final, at 17:45, and will be played at Munich’s Allianz Arena. The other one will be played by the host, Bayern, against the English Liverpool (20:45), another club that will also have to earn its participation in the continental showpiece by playing the qualifying rounds of the Champions.

Therefore, these two games that will be played by our team in Germany will be an important test to verify how the team is three weeks away from of the beginning of LaLiga. Simeone has travelled to this tournament with 29 players to play these two matches, among which are seven players of the academy.
