We challenge San José Earthquakes in the EuroAmerican Cup

Our team will play early this morning the first of two matches scheduled on the American continent to play the EuroAmerican Cup, as part of the second edition of the LFP World Challenge tour.

The Candlestick Park Stadium in San Francisco will be the setting of the match against San Jose Earthquakes. The start is scheduled at 5 pm local time (2 am Monday, July 28th CET).

San José Earthquakes is an American football team, which participates in the North American Major League Soccer (MLS). San José State team lived their most successful moments at the beginning of the 21st century. The two American League titles that are shown off in the display cases of the team from San José were conquered in 2001 and 2003 seasons.

The Canadian Mark Watson directs a young team, without big stars, dominated by local players. Chris Wondolowski, the team’s top scorer, stands out from the rest. The US forward has scored five goals in the nine matches he’s played this year.
