Wang Jianlin, chairman of Wanda Group, spoke about the agreement signed with our club to name the new stadium. "We believe that this agreement can help in the development and growth of Wanda Sports in Spain and in Europe. It strengthens more the relation between Wanda Group and Atlético de Madrid. It is also a way of showing our support to Atlético de Madrid through this gesture."
To finish, Wang Jianlin congratulated the club and its fans for the spectacular stadium. "We are speaking with Atlético de Madrid to develop and extend this project. Congratulation to Atlético de Madrid and to its fans for this spectacular stadium. It will be one of Europe’s top level stadiums. I hope that some day, we are able to celebrate a UEFA Champions League final in this stadium and hope that Atleti achieves the best results in all competitions," he concluded.
