Wanda Metropolitano prepares to host summer events
Our stadium will host six concerts (Ed Sheeran, Alejandro Sanz, Manuel Carrasco, Concierto por la Paz, Bon Jovi and Muse) over the summer, as well as the Nitro Circus motorcycle stunt show and the International Assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses. Royalverd started to remove the turf on Wednesday.
The Wanda Metropolitano is preparing for the events that it will host over the next two months. The home of all the Atléticos will host six concerts, a stunt show and the International Assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Royalverd, one of the leading gardening companies, is currently removing the turf ahead of the important events. The hybrid sod is currently being removed and will be placed at the Wanda Atlético de Madrid Training Complex. The terrain will be protected during the concerts by plates to support the weight. After the summer events, the new turf will be placed.
