Vrsaljko now wears red and white
The Croatian international now knows his new home, the Vicente Calderón, and has posed for the first time with the red and white kit.
Sime Vrsaljko has been presented on Monday in the VIP lounge of the Vicente Calderón stadium. Atlético’s new player, who joined the concentration in Los Ángeles de San Rafael this Sunday, was accompanied by Enrique Cerezo, Chairman, and José Luis Pérez Caminero, Sporting Director.
Enrique Cerezo was in charge of opening the presentation event, welcoming the right winger. Atlético’s winger said: "Vrsaljko plays on the right flank and stands for his speed, individual technique and undoubtable talent. The sporting management of the club bets for him to be a player of proven quality and great projection. Atlético de Madrid signs an excellent footballer."
Then came the turn for Sime Vrsaljko. The Croatian was very happy to be in our club: "Mandzukic spoke very highly of the club to me and of how it works. I'm very much looking forward to start training and playing." To end the event, Vrsaljko posed with his new shirt in the VIP lounge and later took the field of the Vicente Calderón.
