Villarreal squad list
Juan Carlos Garrido, manager of Villarreal, released the list of 18 players for the fixture against Atlético de Madrid after the team’s final training session at their Sports Facilities on Friday afternoon. Afterwards, they headed to Valencia to take the AVE high-speed train to Madrid. Dropped from the list were Ángel, Senna and Cicinho, out through injury.
The 18-player team sheet is formed by the following players: Diego López, Juan Carlos, Gonzalo, Marchena, Capdevila, Musacchio, Mario, Catalá, Joan Oriol, Cazorla, Cani, Bruno, Borja Valero, Matilla, Wakaso, Rossi, Nilmar and Marco Rubén.
