Villa: "We’ve got 9 points and are feeling really good."
David Villa was got off the mark in the League with Atletico, scoring the first goal against Real Sociedad. The Spaniard was happy for the win and for getting on thee score sheet again.
The Atletico striker said he was happy with the win. "It was a very good performance. Above all, collectively , after three tough matches we’ve got the maximum point which are very satisfying especially winning in two very complicated places like today and Sevilla," he said.
Regarding his goal which came after having a few chances, Villa said it was "a shame that I didn’t score in the Rayo game when I hit the post and it took three games to get off the mark. But the important thing is to create chances, with the people we have in the squad we know that our offensive and defensive game is fine."
He also took time to talk about the national team and hi call up along with Koke and Mario Suarez. "We have a very tough and exciting game in Finland and if we will go to win in the World Cup qualifiers. We must look for victory," he said.
