Victory in Brighton
Simeone’s team continues unbeaten in the pre-season after beating the British team by 2-3.
Atlético de Madrid beat Brighton & Hove Albion in our team’s fourth friendly match. Gaitán put our team ahead at the end of the first half. We would reach the interval with 0-1.
Gross, with a free-kick, tied the match after the second half began. Only six minutes later, Torres put us back in the lead. Sidwell, also with a header, equalized the match for the second time. Lucas, on 88 minutes, took advantage of a cleared ball in the box to score the goal that would win the game for us.
