UD Almería SAD squad list
Piatti is out through injury, wjhile Juanma Ortiz and Acasiete return
José Luis Oltra released the team sheet for the fixture against Atlético de Madrid after the team’s last training session held at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos. Pablo Piatti, who had recently rejoined the group, has been left off the squad list because he re-injured the muscle tear that he suffered one week ago. He began Friday’s work session with the rest of the squad, but was forced to stop early and Oltra decided to give him rest.
Former ‘rojiblanco’ player Juanma Ortiz is the new inclusion, as he will make his return after recovering from the cracked tibia he suffered in his right leg against Deportivo in the Copa del Rey on January 19. Also returning is Acasiete.
The 18-player matchday roster is formed by the following players:
Goalkeepers: Diego Alves and Esteban.
Defenders: Michel, Carlos García, Marcelo Silva, Acasiete and Luna.
Midfielders: Bernardello, M'bami, Fabián Vargas, Corona, Ortiz Bernal, Juanma Ortiz, Feghouli and Crusat.
Strikers: Ulloa, Kalu Uche and Goitom.
Dropped from the list are the aforementioned Pablo Piatti, as well as Jakobsen, Pellerano and Juanito.
