Torres: 'We do not look beyond the match against Betis'

Fernando Torres has been one of the stars of the new 2016 Mahou Five Stars spot. Our forward attended the presentation that took place on Tuesday night at the Capitol Theatre in Madrid.
Our '9' participated in the #MiMahouPendiente campaign alongside Luis Aragonés Jr, whom he thanked for all that his father did for Spanish football. "Luis Aragonés is the person who changed the way of facing challenges, the way of seeing Spanish football. Now we are respected, now we are admired in Europe and in the world, and it all started with him," he said.
Torres was also asked about the next commitments of the team, especially about the Champions League duel against Barcelona. "As you know, our match-by-match motto is for a reason. We don’t look beyond Betis, even though we know what comes next. Our weekend goes through Betis. The rest is secondary."
Regarding Godín and Giménez, Torres said that both are working on their recovery. "Knowing their intensity and way of living the matches, I hope they can make it. They are players who have to be in the important matches because they deserve it and they are key players."
