Atlético de Madrid women’s team were defeated in the Women's Champions League round of sixteen match against Olympique Lyonnais by 3-1, leaving a good image in the second half.

The match started under French control. The French squad got ahead on 22 minutes, thanks to a shot by Necib from inside the box. In the last play of the first half, Hegerberg scored the second goal for the visitors.

In the second half, our girls were able to shorten the difference with a goal by Nagore, who scored leisurely inside the box. The goal of the midfielder was the first goal the French concede in an official match this season. The team stood up against Olympique and came close to tying the game, but once again Hegerberg scored the final 1-3 on 93 minutes.
